Matthias Berrang, Partner

Matthias earned a soccer scholarship with the North Carolina State University men?s soccer team while completing his Biological Engineering degree in 1995. After graduation, Matthias began working for MA Engineering Consultants as a Design Engineer and helped design bridges, roadways, and drainage plans for several major highways in North Carolina. In 1997, Matthias earned his Master of Science in Management degree. After graduation, Matthias accepted a job with First Union (now called Wachovia Bank) and worked in the Risk Management Department, Evergreen Mutual Fund Department, and Project Management Group. In 2000, Matthias became a manager of the Competitive Analysis and Sales Support Groups in the Retail Investment Division. He was recognized with the Rising Star Award for 2001 because of his significant contributions.

In 2003, Matthias accepted the Wealth Management Product Manager with Union Planters Bank in Memphis, TN. As a member of the Financial Services Executive Committee, his responsibilities included managing the investment products, marketing, and sales promotions for the entire bank. Having enjoyed much success in these various roles, Matthias still always had a dream to start his own company built upon Christian values. So when Kyle Drake and Matthias began discussing the idea of a new venture together, the doors were immediately opened and Sensible Home Solutions, LLC was launched. Matthias and his wife Lindsay decided to move from Memphis, TN to Orange Park, FL to begin the new company with Kyle and his family. He and his wife have been happily married for 6 years and they have 3 children that keep them very busy! To better serve his clients and to broaden his experience in the real estate industry, Matthias took additional classes and acquired a mortgage license and a real estate license. This helps him serve the North Florida community by providing in-depth experience on a broad array of real estate topics.

Matthias has purchased and sold many homes in the North Florida area, and this experience is beneficial for Buyers and Sellers who have to deal with their own property. Since Matthias is a licensed real estate agent in North Florida with INI Realty Investments Inc, he can assist with listings, purchasing homes, or management of properties. Matthias and Lindsay have been blessed with 3 children: Savannah age 3, Corban age 1, and newborn Callie.

Lindy Zepp, Assistant
The newest addition to the Sensible Home Solutions, LLC team, Lindy brings a wide variety of skills to the company. Lindy has lived in the Orange Park area for over 6 years and most recently has worked as the Women’s Youth Director at Pinewood Presbyterian Church in Middleburg. A few of her responsibilities included event planning, teaching, web design, and budgeting. She was promoted because of her success and received additional responsiblities in a short amount of time. Lindy has passed the real estate sales associate class in the state of Florida and has a thorough knowledge of the Clay County area. She is a valuable resource for clients moving to the area who are interested in learning about schools systems, since her extensive involvement with youth over the years.
